Meron Kibrom

Meron`s life is fully exposed to danger as she lives with her aunt in a small tent made from plastic beside the main road.

They used to live in a nearby town before they came to Gondar to find her parents who disappeared 2 years ago but have not been able to locate them.

Meron`s aunt has breast cancer and Meron is responsible for caring for her aunt and her baby.

Their life is terrible and mostly their food is leftovers collected from different houses or hotels. Without St. George’s Meron would have no chance of attending school.
