Yididya Chekol

Yididya is from a nearby town displaced due to fear of war in the area.

Her mother has been divorced since October 2020 when the war started in the northern part of Ethiopia. Everything they owned  was damaged by the war and they didn’t take even a spare clothing with them when they fled.

Her mother tries to work as a house to house maid for their daily meal but it is not sufficient for Yididya`s schooling.
