Luss Christmas Fair a cracking success!
Flynn’s Favourites Dog Treats!
The Luss Christmas Fair returned with a festive flourish this year, bringing the local community together in celebration and raising an incredible £2539 for the children of St. George's School in Gondar, Ethiopia. After a hiatus, it was heartwarming to see such enthusiasm and generosity, and we're excited to share the highlights of this wonderful event.
With the sounds of the Helensburgh Clan Colquhoun Pipe Band warming up, people formed a steady queue to enter the Loch Lomond Hotel's function suite. A large table was covered with raffle prizes donated by the craftworkers, which were collected into hampers. Vouchers for local experiences, including boat trips and dinners, were also generously given by local businesses to raise funds for NAEF. The rooms were buzzing with stallholders putting their final touches to the wonderful displays. There were chocolates, pots, decorations, and tiny woollen mice, as well as cactus, baskets and even dog treats. From 11 until 4, the crowds came and bought these special Christmas treats.
The success of the fair would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of so many.
