Betremaryam lives with her father and 3 siblings in a room given from a kindly local to live for free.

Her mother died in 2018 and from then, her father took all the burden to take care of the family. Currently, he is chronically ill and in bed which makes their situation worse.

Sometimes, people in their locality give them food which their life depends on. There is no guaranteed income or donation for this family to send Betremaryam and her two older siblings to school.
